Light Notes - Poetry

Through The Chrysalis

We transform through a delicate spirit, softly encased within a warm cocoon…and in time we emerge, to be lifted by the wind

We are blown, aimlessly fluttering, through storms and sunshine - frightened, fragile, tired and wounded

Yet  we are seen as beauty, strength, freedom and light

We fall, alone and unprotected, hoping to pass through a tender embrace…away from danger and turmoil, encircled in a friend’s loving arms

Hearts open, tears fall, bruises heal.  Mended and strong, we spread our wings once more…to be lifted and guided by soft gentle breezes

Giving beauty back to life, we soar, strong and unfaltering…beautiful, free, and filled with true purpose
