This is the first of three trainings required for certification as a Trager® Practitioner. In the Level I training you can expect to learn how to give a complete rudimentary Trager® tablework session and how to begin to use Mentastics® for your own development and with practice clients. A complete description of the Trager® certification program can be found at www.trager-us.org. It is not required that you continue on the certification path after taking the Level I training; many people take the course for personal development, professional development, or to work with friends and family. However, in order to promote yourself as someone who does Trager®, you must be certified by the US Trager Association, which would require the completion of the entire Trager® professional training track. The Level I training provides 48 approved continuing education hours for massage therapists and nurses. In North Carolina, a massage license is not required to practice Trager® professionally.
