In conjunction with the IonCleanse® detoxifying footbath service, at Clear Horizons we also employ far infrared technology to promote full-body detoxification with the Thermal Life® infrared therapy sauna from High Tech Health. 

The FIR sauna is light therapy.  Powerful lamps in the sauna generate light in the far infrared spectrum, which is invisible to the eye.  You get these rays from natural sunlight, too, like you would at the beach.   This end of the spectrum is responsible for that luxurious warmth that you feel when sunbathing.  But unlike the ultraviolet (UV) rays off the other end of the visible spectrum, these rays do not burn the skin and do not cause skin cancer.  FIR radiation also stimulates the production of endorphins (the “feel good” hormones), so spending a few minutes in the FIR sauna is kind of like spending a few hours at the beach, except without the sunburn. 

FIR rays penetrate deep within the body, warming it from within and energizing the cells, so besides providing a luxurious respite from the stresses of everyday life, a sauna session is also a great preparation for your IonCleanse® detoxifying footbath session.   

At Clear Horizons we use the top-of-the-line model from High Tech Health - the Model TL-4M Four Person Clinic Unit.  This unit fits up to four people comfortably, and it has plenty of leg room.   

At Clear Horizons, you can enjoy our FIR sauna service by the minute for a small fee when you come for your IonCleanse® sessions (or whenever else you like).  Or, you can take advantage of our AnyTime Sauna special, and use the FIR sauna as long as you like* and as often as you like** for a modest monthly subscription fee.

* However you choose to enjoy our FIR sauna service, experts at Clear Horizons will work with you to establish the proper protocol for gradually increasing your FIR exposure time for the greatest benefit to your body.
